To further strengthen our Ocean Freight Forwarding operations, we are looking for a Business Process Specialist who can bridge the gap between Operations, IT, Finance, and Business Process Management. 

What You'll Do

As a Business Process Specialist, you will play a key role in improving operational performance, data quality, and process efficiency across our Ocean Freight Forwarding business. You will analyze existing workflows, implement improvements, support system users, and help drive digitalization and automation initiatives throughout the organization. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Analyzing Ocean Freight Forwarding processes and monitoring KPI performance to identify improvement opportunities. 
• Optimizing operational processes, process governance, and data quality standards. 
• Implementing new business processes and supporting change management initiatives across operations. 
• Developing and delivering training programs for both new and existing employees. 
• Supporting users in the effective use of transport management systems such as CargoWise and Cargo1. 
• Performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and supporting software updates and system implementations. 
• Acting as the first point of contact for system and process-related issues and coordinating ticket management through ServiceNow (SNOW). 
• Creating operational and customer-specific reports and reporting schedules. 
• Supporting onboarding activities and helping new colleagues become familiar with systems and operational processes. 
• Acting as a liaison between Operations and IT for EDI and API integrations with customers, vendors, and external platforms.
• Collaborating within the BPM team to further automate and optimize business processes. 

Who We're Looking For

You are an analytical problem-solver who enjoys improving processes and helping teams work more effectively. You have a strong affinity with systems and data and know how to translate operational needs into practical solutions.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 
• Operational experience within Ocean Freight Forwarding and/or Air Freight Forwarding. 
• Initial experience in Business Process Management, Continuous Improvement, or Project Management. 
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken. 
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Experience with CargoWise and workflow management systems is a strong advantage. 
• Highly analytical and data-driven mindset.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while building effective relationships across departments.
• Structured, accurate, and proactive approach to problem-solving. 
• Willingness to travel occasionally within the region when required.
